These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Convert Me Pls (the "Service"), a free online file conversion tool. By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The service

Convert Me Pls converts files between image, video and audio formats. Conversions are processed on our servers, and your files are deleted shortly after. The Service is provided free of charge for personal and commercial use, subject to these Terms.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • upload or convert content you do not have the right to use;
  • process unlawful material, including content that infringes intellectual property rights or violates the rights of any person;
  • attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer or circumvent the Service or its rate limits; or
  • resell or redistribute the Service as your own without a separate written agreement.

3. Your files and content

You retain all rights to the files you convert. We claim no ownership over your content. You are solely responsible for the files you upload and the output you download. See our Privacy Policy for how files are handled and how long they are retained.

4. Availability and changes

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice. We do not guarantee that conversions will be error-free or that the Service will be uninterrupted.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Convert Me Pls and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

6. API and automated access

Programmatic access via our API is subject to the documented rate limits and any plan-specific terms. We may revoke API credentials that are used in violation of these Terms.

7. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
